Last week for Iwanna Wednesday I shared a video showing you 25 ways to wear a scarf in 4.5 minutes. So this week I'm going to show you some cool things that Iwanna ask Santa for this year.
First off, I'm wondering if this little gadget would be acceptable here in California while you are driving since we are a "hands-free" state and we can't hold the cell phone itself up to our ear. If I were to place it on my shoulder and tilt my head to hold it in place would that constitute "hands-free"? I think it's so cool and it's a bit cheaper than a blue-tooth. Iwanna one of these, they are so cute! You can find this little toy in blue as shown and also available in yellow at http://www.modcloth.com/.
While you're over there at http://www.modcloth.com/, take a look at these adorable tea cups. Now I'm not a tea fan, but I think you could drink coffee out of these. Maybe warm milk? Even some hot chocolate? And how cute would they look on my kitchen counter? Iwanna these, they are just too adorable!
And speaking of tea, earlier this week one of my facebook buddies posted this Christmas Tree made out of books. It's just amazing! Iwanna collect enough books in this coming year to be able to make a Christmas Tree of Books for myself next year. The original site for this photo is HERE.
What does this photo have to do with Tea? Do you see the teapot lamp on the dresser? Iwanna one of those and I found quite a few beautiful ones online. This one is my favorite! It's from mumsaid.co.uk and they have several other ones, but I'm pretty sure I love this one best because for one thing green is my favorite color and I love butterflies!
One thing that I know Santa is bringing me this year is a brand, spanking new LAPTOP!!! How do I know Santa is bringing me one? Well cause I'm my own Santa and I think I've been a very good girl this year so I bought myself one! Yay!
And since I'm getting one Iwanna one of these so I can blog in bed! I love that it has a built-in mouse pad! And it seems to be adjustable.
And so I don't strain my back while blogging Iwanna one of these as well! I just love this color. It looks so comfortable that I may NEVER get out of bed again! I found this one on Amazon.com.
So that's my Christmas Wish List or my Christmas Iwanna List. What's on your list this year? Here's hoping that all your Iwanna wishes come true!
You continue to amaze me with your iwanna's. I didn't even see that teapot by the Christmas Books. Wow! You have an eye for details. And never leaving your bed, I think that would be impossible. Anyways, I love all the items posted and the handset for the cell phone is something my mama needs.
ReplyDeleteI love the BOOK TREE photo. So clever.

I love the teapot lamp too, but couldn't believe the price when I went to the site!
ReplyDeleteYourwanna's are priced at working people prices. We gainfully disemployed have to find something a bit more Walmartish. That teapot lamp is pushing $600 with the current exchange rate. At that price it better make tea and pour it into one of those cups you like.

Good luck with you laptop. I just bought the cheapest iMac (one piece desk top) to replace my 9 year old Dell Disaster, which is threatening not to start up from a reboot. I couldn't justify the price of a laptop to old cheapie. May I make a suggestion? If you are not used to using the track pad, buy a cheap wireless mouse, to get you through the transition. I always turned the pads off one the laptops at work, because I kept bumping damn thing while I am typing which would reposition the cursor. I chose the track pad with the iMac and while I love it for scrolling through a document or web pages, it is almost useless to me for doing anything precise. I was going crazy and plugged in an old wireless mouse. I can use both at the same time. It helps to preserve you sanity while trying to learn a new computer. (If you are buying an Apple, you don't have to buy Apples expensive magic mouse, with suffers from this gesture crap, which is probably great if you don't have MS. I am using an old wireless USB Logitech mouse, that I have had for about 4 years. )
Reading the mess I posted above, I believe that the R key is not working on my new keyboard, which is something of a elfin affair. Apple's minimalism is cool for about an hour. I miss my big old ugly Microsoft keyboard, not that it made much difference in my typing. Oh getting old, you, your, and you're have all become interchangeable.
ReplyDeleteLove your blog, Alicia! Also, I've asked Santa for one of those old-school telephone handsets for the iPhone. Fingers crossed!
ReplyDeleteLove all of it!
ReplyDeleteModcloth is the best!
And that tealamp is so sweet!
Hope you get yourself one of these for Christmas!
Merry Christmas Friend!
xoxoxo
Enjoy your new Laptop! Yes, I'm pretty sure you've been a good girl and you definitely deserve it.
ReplyDeleteAs for te Iwanna items displayed - I'm for the one in the last picture; it offers a lot of comfort; so, go ahead and buy it.
Angie - I definitely think you should buy that for your mom, and one for me cause I am your office mom...lol.
ReplyDeleteElizabether - First, thank you for becoming a new follower, I hope you enjoy my blog. And that tree is amazing isn't it? I'm going to definitely start collecting books just so I can do one next year!
ReplyDeletePondside - I couldn't believe the price either, but that's why this is an Iwanna post. I can Iwanna anything I want, that doesn't mean I'm actually going to get it. If I bought everything I want even the our National Budget couldn't pay for it! Come to think of it, our National Budget isn't paying for much :-)
ReplyDeleteSextant - My Iwanna's are definitely pricey. I have to choose items that no one can afford because my daughter tries to buy me everything I post.
ReplyDeleteSextant - Had to do your reply in a 2-parter cause I got called away. I had already ordered my laptop by the time you left your comment. It is a dell. My current desktop pc is a Dell and it's 9 years old and it's never given me a moments trouble. Dell has always been good to me. I did have a few virus issues and they helped me. When my mouse died once they sent me a new one, no charge. So I kinda love Dell. I know others have had issues with them, but so far so good for me.
ReplyDeleteAs to the tract pad, I did order a mouse but I may send it back because I'm really getting used to this one. I called Dell because it was too sensitive. They helped me to set it to suit me and I'm loving it.
James A Martin - Thank you James! It's nice to have you visit. I enjoy your blog so much! Hey, I hope Santa brings you one of those phone handsets, they are so cute!
ReplyDeleteBraley Mama - Hey Summur! Modcloth is pretty cool, just stumbledupon it and love it! Merry Christmas little Mama! I am so happy to hear your good news about the new little one on the way! Yay!
ReplyDeleteDUTA - I am loving my laptop. I'm sitting on my comfy couch right now with a blanket and it's so nice not to have to sit at that desk chair at my desktop pc! I should have gotten one years ago!
ReplyDeleteI love that last item! I may actually buy that one, or something similar. I love that it has the massage and the light.
Cute gift ideas, Alicia!...Christine
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty cups! Love the book tree! Merry Christmas!...hugs...Debbie
ReplyDeleteThat book tree is amazing and a good idea. I hadn't seen the old school iphone handset and think that it's a great idea.
ReplyDeleteI think that phone with the headset is so cute, and it sure does seem like it could qualify as hands free. Great book tree. laurie
