The One Question that Would Change the World?

    I was reading a blog post from Spo-Reflections that he does called "Word of Mine Wednesdays W's" and I was reminded of a group text chat on my phone that my cousin Lucy started, it's called The Fri-Yay Question and she gives us a topic each Friday.

    A couple of weeks ago she handed the reins over to our cousin Mary Helen to come up with the question and she gave us one that I still have not answered but I've been pondering since. The question was, "If you could know the absolute truth about one thing in the universe, what would you ask?"

    My first thought was who really shot Kennedy, but then I thought; what difference does it make at this point in time right? So I read what some of the others in the chat were saying to see if I could get an idea.

     Here's what some of them came up with:

Lucy - I have always wanted to know if I will see my 2 dogs Bear and Ginger - do dogs go to Heaven?

Lisa - I think I would like to know as my one truth, is there really a Heaven and Hell?

Tom - Are Extraterrestrials real? He said yes.

Lucy - Are ghosts real?

Lucy - (Cousin Lucy was on fire!) - Do dogs understand us?

Norrie - Do tacos really make you fat? (I admit I'm invested in this question!)

Connie - I would like to know how the Moai Statues on Easter Island came about?

Lydia - How was the Miracle Staircase in Santa Fe, New Mexico built?

Eliza - Is the Eucharist truly the body & blood of Jesus Christ?

Tito - Is Michael Jackson really still alive? (I didn't know there was a doubt about that)

    So there you go, all great questions, but if you only had one chance wouldn't you want to ask something that would change the world with it's answer? That's why I'm finding it so difficult to come up with my question. I do have some thoughts though.

1. Where is JonBenet Ramsey? And in reality - all missing children?

2. What is the cure for Cancer?

3. Is there life on other planets and which planet should we stay away from because of the life forms there?

4. Is reincarnation real and do we all continuously come back as someone else?

5. Will the Dallas Cowboys ever win a Super Bowl again? This one may not change the world but it would make me happy or sad to know.

    Anyway, what question would you ask if you only had the one?
