I hate any berry pie except strawberry.Sextanthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02869179401767968180noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4567723504977931374.post-33835373539644430672012-07-09T21:14:35.317-07:002012-07-09T21:14:35.317-07:00Your genius was never in question. I'm thrilled with the kitchen and I love to get it all clean and pretty and then just look at it and not let anyone cook so they don't dirty it...lol. I'm a dweeb, I know.

I've always loved peach best with pecan a close 2nd. I've never liked cherry although I adore fresh cherries...go figure.

It's funny how our tastes change as we get older isn't it? I bought my parents house and have done a complete remodel. New tile throughout the kitchen, bathrooms and hall and entry way. New carpet in the bedrooms and living room. New paint throughout the whole house, new floorboards, new stainless steel sink, new granite countertops, new kitchen cabinets, new backsplash, and of course now I'm working on all new curtains other accessories. It's a never ending battle. But I'm have a good (and tiring) time :)Aliciahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18196096131750922174noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4567723504977931374.post-46007714362280999182012-07-09T21:05:40.307-07:002012-07-09T21:05:40.307-07:00Thanks Paula! My mother in law was a wonderful cook and she left me lots of recipes including the peach pie and the pie crust. Hopefully tomorrow I can post the recipes.

I'm really enjoying the new home but it's tiring to constantly be organizing and redecorating and we have a huge ant problem so I can't even put anything in the kitchen cabinets!!Aliciahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18196096131750922174noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4567723504977931374.post-22898883246498388372012-07-09T18:36:39.945-07:002012-07-09T18:36:39.945-07:00Yummm, Peach pie! As an adult standing on the threshold of the "golden years" it has moved to second place right behind cherry. The indigestion I get from cherry anymore promises to move peach to the top.

Your kitchen looks great. Didn't we have a discussion about what counter top to use? I am glad to see that you followed my advice! I believe I told you that if you liked granite better the the alternative, use granite. See I am a genius.Sextanthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02869179401767968180noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4567723504977931374.post-46522726404000855042012-07-09T13:05:51.677-07:002012-07-09T13:05:51.677-07:00Good Luck with the new house!
